War Wagon Returns to Jesse Birgy Memorial

After a great performance at the Winchester, Indiana Night of Destruction event a couple weeks back, Andy Hoffman is proud to announce that War Wagon will return to participate in this year's 2nd Annual Jesse Birgy Memorial event at the Berlin Fair in Marne, Michigan on July 22nd. Last year Andy and Nitemare came out to help support the event, which benefits legendary driver Jesse Birgy's family, and the team is very happy to do so once again in 2010. Hoffman Motorsports Ready For Summer

After a couple months off, Andy Hoffman and War Wagon are itching to get back into competition for the summer months. Our first event comes at the end of the month as War Wagon will perform in Winchester Speedway's first ever Night of Destruction!  These type of events are always fun and we look forward to seeing lots of our fans and putting on a great show. War Wagon February Wrap Up

Hoffman Motorsports has wrapped up February in fine fashion after a great few weeks running with our friends on the Monster Nation and Monster Jam tours. We started out the month running Monster Nation's first event at the North Charleston Coliseum in South Carolina. Once again it would be a tough lineup including the likes of Bigfoot, Equalizer, Hot Tamale, Eliminator and Defender. Andy turned in solid efforts all weekend but on this particular weekend there were be no touching the super-team of Hawkins/Morales as Isaiah in Hot Tamale nearly swept the weekend, with only Hawkins getting a win in Equalizer in Saturday night's racing. The racing competition got interesting fast for Andy as, running the timed course Andy got tripped up on a stack and rolled War Wagon onto its lid.

The War Wagon 2010 Tour would continue through Knoxville, Tennesse for Monster Jam and then back down south to Beaumont, Texas for the Monster Nation season finale. Both weeks, Andy would continue to run hard in War Wagon but couldn't quite catch the necessary break to get into victory lane. We've had a great time so far this year and we're only looking forward to bigger and better things as the year continues!!  Thanks to everyone with Monster Jam and Monster Nation for a great first two months, stay tuned for continued updates on team happenings all season long!!

War Wagon Monster Jam Recap

February 2nd, 2010

Two more weeks of tough competition are in the books and Hoffman Motorsports had a great time running with the big boys of Monster Jam. Our first stop was in Dayton, Ohio for three shows at the EJ Nutter Center. A great lineup would compete including many great friends like our old Monster Nationals buddies, the Perrins with High Maintenance and the Halls with Raminator and Rammunition. The weekend started off great as Andy took second in the wheelie competition Friday night, with only Jocelyn Perrin topping his score of 25. Racing would continue the strong performances as Andy made it to the semi-finals, narrowly losing to Geremie Dishman in Rammunition. The rest of the weekend would have its ups and downs on the competitive side, but it was a great time putting on a show for the Dayton fans.

Greenville, South Carolina's Bi-lo Center would be the next big event for the Hoffman Motorsports team. Another action-packed three show weekend would ensue as Andy and War Wagon took on the likes of Grave Digger, Madusa, Predator, Prowler and more. Andy would managed great scores in the wheelie and freestyle competitions in all three shows and would advance to the semi-finals in two of the three events.

Thanks to everyone on the Monster Jam staffs we worked with these past two weeks, we are already looking forward to our next event in Knoxville later this month. This coming weekend however, we return to the Monster Nation tour for a big event in Charleston - stay tuned for results!!

War Wagon Monster Nation Recap

The new season is underway and Hoffman Motorsports kicked it off in a big way, re-debuting War Wagon on the Nitemare chassis against some major competition on the Monster Nation tour!!  The first weekend of the year would see Andy and War Wagon traveling to Bossier City, Lousiana for two big shows at the CenturyTel Center against a stacked lineup including Bigfoot, Equalizer, Tail Gator, Hot Tamale and Razin Kane. The weekend would bring success as Andy had great efforts in all the competitions, with the highlight coming when Andy took the Saturday night racing victory.

From Lousiana the tour moved on to Southaven, Mississippi for two more events at the Desoto Civic Center. Andy would once again turn in solid performances all weekend but would be unable to break into victory lane against the tough field of trucks.

A big thanks to everyone with Monster Nation for two great weeks, the team looks forward to returning to the series in February. Next up, two big weekends of Monster Jam competition, stay tuned for updates!!

Hoffman Motorsports Gearing Up for 2010

Hoffman Motorsports is gearing up for a big year in 2010 with the debut of a new chassis and the return of the War Wagon!  After a great 2009 running Nitemare, Andy decided it was time to bring back the War Wagon name and body for 2010. The question was to either rebuild the Nitemare chassis to fit the War Wagon body, or to start from scatch with building a new chassis. The answer ended up being neither as Andy was able to acquire an unfinished chassis from another builder and is currently working over the offseason to complete it for its debut in January as the all-new War Wagon. Andy has signed on for all four dates with Monster Nation in 2010 including stops in Bossier City, Lousiana; Southaven, Mississippi; North Charleston, South Carolina; and Beaumont, Texas. The schedule will also feature some events for Monster Jam.
