Mansfield, OH Summer Firestorm Recap September 17th, 2009 Hoffman Motorsports recently had the privilege of participating in a first time event at Mansfield Motorsports Park in Mansfield, Ohio. Andy and Nitemare were featured at the 2009 Summer Firestorm event at the race track, taking on Shell Camino, American Thunder, Phantom and Cyclone in the all-freestyle event. The track also brought a jet truck, the human bomb, wall of steel stunt, and a rollover contest for a really fun, unqiue show. Andy and Shelley Kujat had a great battle for the freestyle wins, with Andy coming out on top in the final tally. A big thanks to Kevin Ruic and Fastcar North Motorsports Promotions for having us at the event, we're already looking forward to next year!
Back to School Monster Truck Bash Recap August 20th, 2009 One of Hoffman Motorsports' favorite events of the summer is always the Back to School Monster Truck Bash at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway and we had the privilege of being invited back again this year! Rich Schaefer and the Monster Truck Challenge crew never fail to put on an amazing show, and this year was no different as they designed one of the wildest racing courses we've ever seen. Andy and Nitemare had a solid qualifying effort which would setup a first round race with Doug Noelke in the Tail Gator. Doug ran a great race and managed to just edge out the win over Andy at the finish line. Andy would get the call back as a fast loser for round two, but there would be no stopping eventual winner Mike Hawkins in the Equalizer.

Andy had a great time as always at the Charlotte show, and we're already looking forward to next year, who knows what Rich and the gang will come up with! Nitemare Enjoying Strong Summer July 29th, 2009 The summer has started off great for Hoffman Motorsports as Andy and Nitemare have been able to take part in some laidback fun events, running with some great friends. Last month Andy took part in the first annual Jesse Birgy memorial event at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan. Andy had a great freestyle run and the event helped raise a nice sum for Jesse’s family. Nitemare was invited to participate in Galesburg Speedway’s 4th of July celebration again this year, and that was great fun as always.

Running against a great field of trucks, Andy once again made the competition work for it with a strong run in freestyle. Nitemare would run strong again the next day in Champaign, Illinois, but a DQ in the semi-finals would deny Andy the opportunity to try to upset hometown favorite Mark Hall in the finals. Andy did however give Mark a run for it in freestyle, laying down what may have been the run of the night with some big moves and donuts. Mark’s run was strong as well and the hometown crowd just edged Raminator over the top for the evening sweep. In just a few weeks, it’s off to one of our favorite events, the Back to School Monster Truck Bash in Charlotte, North Carolina for Rich Schaefer. Other than that, we’ve still got plenty of openings, so contact us to get Nitemare at your next event!!
Sedalia, Miami Bring More Wins May 15th, 2009 Since our last update, Andy and Nitemare have competed in events in Sedalia, Missouri and Miami, Oklahoma. The Sedalia event at the beginning of March would see Andy take the freestyle win Friday night after a huge reverser resulted in a nasty wreck. After a long night and day of repairs, Andy would be back Saturday night driving Nitemare to the straight line racing victory and putting on another great freestyle.
(Photo Courtesy Ross Z. Bonar, www.TheMonsterBlog.com) After a month and a half break, Nitemare was back in action for the annual O’Reilly Outlaw Nationals outdoor event at the Miami, OK Fairgrounds. Friday night’s highlight would be a semi-final round appearance, but Saturday Andy was on his game taking down Doug Noelke in Tail Gator in the semis and Darren Migues in Bounty Hunter in the finals. Andy also nearly took a wheelie contest win and laid down a solid freestyle. Nitemare Dominates Outlaw Nationals Indoor Season March 3rd, 2009 Andy Hoffman and Nitemare have just competed a hugely successful three weekend tour of Texas as part of the O’Reilly Outlaw Nationals series!! The first weekend in Austin, TX would see Andy sweep everything, taking racing both nights and even topping Devin Jones and Barbarian in freestyle both nights. The next event in Austin saw Andy continue his racing dominance, taking wins both nights and turning in two more strong freestyles. The final stop in Waco would see Andy sweep on Friday night and take the Saturday night freestyle, but lose racing for the first and only time on the tour. Andy and Nitemare would end up 9 out of 12 in O’Reilly Outlaw Nationals racing and freestyle this winter for an incredible 75% win percentage. Prior to starting the Outlaw Nationals tour, Andy also competed in the Oklahoma City Extreme Monster Truck Nationals event, winning the Friday night donut contest. This coming weekend we’ll be in Sedalia, MO with the Monster Truck Racing Super Series, but we do still have plenty of availability for the rest of the year, so contact us to get Andy and Nitemare at your event!!
Nitemare Starts '09 With Monster Jam January 20th, 2009 Andy Hoffman kicked off 2009 by participating in two events for Feld Motorsports the past two weekends. The first event was in Evansville, IN where Nitemare was the home-state favorite taking on Team Scream's four trucks. Friday would see Andy take a score of 24 in the wheelie contest, exit in round 1 of racing and take scores of 15 and 11 in the donut and freestyle competitions. Saturday would see much better performance from the truck as Andy marched his way to the finals before falling to Wrecking Crew and took home the donut contest victory.

Friday would bring another final round appearance, just getting nipped at the line by Mark Schroeder's Devastator. Nitemare would get scores of 19 and 10 in the wheelie and freestyle contests. Saturday would see Andy start off by scoring an 18 in the wheelie contest, but a broken housing in the first round of racing would end the weekend for Nitemare. This coming weekend Nitemare will be making its first appearance on the Extreme Monster Truck Nationals tour in Oklahoma City, OK. From there Andy will run all three O'Reilly Outlaw Nationals winter events. Stay tuned for more results as Nitemare takes on the competition in 2009!!
Hoffman Motorsports Gearing Up For 2009!! November 13th, 2008 After a light schedule this fall to close out the year, Hoffman Motorsports is gearing up for a big 2009!! Andy is working to firm up a number of first quarter dates, but can announce that he and Nitemare will be competing in all three O'Reilly Outlaw Nationals events this winter in Texas. In the meantime, any promoters interested in having 2-time Monster Nationals Freestyle Champion Andy Hoffman and Nitemare at their events are encouraged to contact us ASAP while there is still availability. War Wagon In Miami This Weekend - Schedule Update!! May 6th, 2008 War Wagon will return to competition after a little bit of time off this weekend at the Miami Fairgrounds in Miami, OK for the O'Reilly Outlaw Nationals!! Andy will do battle against seven other top monster trucks including Bounty Hunter, Tail Gator, Iron Outlaw, Barbarian, Big Dawg and more. In two weeks War Wagon will compete in Lufkin, TX for Team MotorJam against Monster Patrol, Ozz Monster, and Barbarian. Check out the Schedule for some newly added major events with Monster Truck Challenge as well!!
First Quarter Recap!! March 19th, 2008 The first quarter of 2008 has seen some new surroundings for the Hoffman Motorsports team, but that hasn't stopped Andy from dominating in freestyle with the War Wagon!! This winter Andy primarily ran for TBO on the Monster Motor Nationals tour, and looking back, War Wagon was on top of freestyle in nearly every competition ran. Andy has also done well in racing this year, managing to grab at least one racing win almost every weekend on the TBO Tour. Mid-February also saw Andy's return to the Monster Jam series in a one-off deal in Cincinnati, OH. Andy showed the Monster Jam fans what a reverse move is all about, grabbing some huge air going backwards and taking the win in his first Monster Jam freestyle in years!! The first quarter has also seen events in Texas, Waco for MAP and Beaumont for Rich Schaefer, taking a freestyle win at each. Looking back, it was a very successful winter for Andy and War Wagon. What will the summer bring? We'll just have to wait and see, so keep checking back here for updates on where you'll be able to see Hoffman Motorsports in the coming months!!

War Wagon Back In Competition!! January 10th, 2008 After a nice few months off, Andy Hoffman is back in the saddle as War Wagon takes the Monster Motor Nationals by storm!! The two-time Monster Nationals freestyle champ is moving on to a new series this winter and will be running all of the TBO Entertainment Monster Motor Nationals events beginning this weekend in Hattiesburg, MS. Hoffman Motorsports will also be competing in our first Monster Jam event in many years February 15th-16th at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, OH. A big thanks to Keith Speller and the folks at LiveNation for inviting us to bring War Wagon out to compete with Monster Jam's best. Andy will also be seen running for John Darnell in Waco, TX and Rich Schaefer in Beaumont, TX to close out February. Nitemare Wraps Up 2007 In Nashville, TN!! October 17th, 2007 Nitemare was back on the Major League of Monster Trucks tour of Tennessee the last two weekends, with stops in Memphis and Nashville!! Andy had a great start to the weekend in Memphis with a good showing in racing and a strong freestyle Friday night, but Saturday the tight Memphis track took a bite of Nitemare. Coming over the second jump, Andy got a bit out of shape and with no room to correct, was over the concrete wall and onto his roof. Thankfully Andy escaped injury in the violent crash, but Nitemare was not as lucky. The beaten and battered truck was loaded back onto the trailer and brought back to Indiana where Andy thrashed all week long to get everything put back together for the big MLMT season finale in Nashville.
The Major League of Monster Trucks finished the season with a bang, as nineteen trucks competed in one of the biggest shows of the entire year. Andy exited in the first round of racing against Bigfoot, but was responsible for what many would say is one of the most memorable moments of the entire '07 MLMT Tour. Eventual series champion Dan Runte in Bigfoot pulled out to a big lead over Andy, but on the second lap on the huge crossover track, Bigfoot was going through the under portion of the crossover right as Andy made the jump on the giant center hill. Andy and Nitemare soared high, up and over Bigfoot as the crowd roared in delight! Following up that big move would be tough, but Andy put on a great freestyle for the Nashville fans with a huge slap wheelie through the infield and a smoky cyclone on the tri-oval of Nashville Superspeedway to finish the season. Participating in the inaugural Major League of Monster Trucks season was a great experience and the Hoffman Motorsports team was proud to be a part of it. We are already looking forward to running the 2008 MLMT Championship which will be huge for our industry. Nitemare Photos From Kentucky MLMT!! October 17th, 2007 Nitemare was part of the sixteen-truck lineup competing at Kentucky Speedway this past weekend on the Major League of Monster Trucks championship tour!! Andy had a tough first-round draw in racing, facing off against current points leader Dan Runte in Bigfoot. It was a close race until the final turn when Andy got Nitemare a bit out of shape, handing the win to Runte. Leading off the freestyle competition, Andy was able to pull off several slap wheelies, a reverser over the carset, and a killer cyclone to end his run for a score of 20. Indianapolis 4-Wheel Jamboree Photos!! October 3rd, 2007 Last week Andy and Nitemare were just down the road from home in Indianapolis, IN for the Monster Truck Thunder Drags event as part of the annual 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals. Andy has been really getting Nitemare dialed in for racing and nearly took down Raminator in the Saturday afternoon show. Unfortunately that show's freestyle would be the end of the weekend for Andy after some tough breakage. Next week Andy is back on the Major League of Monster Trucks tour at Kentucky Motor Speedway, with stops in Memphis and Nashville to follow. Nitemare Takes On The Major League of Monster Trucks!! August 27th, 2007 Andy Hoffman and the Nitemare machine have gone racing! The new Major League of Monster Trucks series is taking monster truck racing to the next level and Hoffman Motorsports is proud to have been invited to some of this fall's major events. The first stop on the tour was in Charlotte, NC at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway. It had been a little while since Andy had been behind the wheel of Nitemare, and the truck wasn't running at 100%. Nitemare made a first round exit in racing, but still managed to put on a good show for the Charlotte fans in freestyle.
The next stop would be at the The Dirt Track @ Texas Motor Speedway this past weekend. Andy had the truck running much better, taking Nitemare all the way to the Semi-Finals Friday night in the all-star field of twelve trucks. Nitemare also put on a great show for the fans in freestyle both nights. The next appearance for Nitemare on the MLMT tour will be October 19th-20th at Memphis Motorsports Park in Memphis, TN. War Wagon Rolls In Champaign To Close Wild Weekend!! July 26th, 2007 This past weekend began Friday and Saturday at the Jefferson County Fair in Hillsboro, MO. Andy took the freestyle victory Saturday night before packing up and heading to Champaign, IL for the Prairieland Monster Nationals. Freestyle would not be so kind to Andy Sunday as a reverser over the van stack ended with War Wagon on its lid!! This was the first time the truck has been over since Andy debuted at the beginning of the season. Our good friend Ross Z. Back-To-Back Monster Nationals Champs!! May 16th, 2007 Hoffman Motorsports is proud to announce that we have clinched the 2007 Monster Nationals Freestyle championship!! Debuting the new War Wagon truck at the beginning of the season, Andy knew it would be tough to repeat as the Freestyle champ this year. But once the season got rolling along, Andy was winning freestyle after freestyle, officially clinching the title after the Erie, PA event. Hoffman Motorsports would like to thank George Eisenhart for inviting us back onto the Monster Nationals tour to defend our title this year, and all of our sponsors and fans for your support this year.

War Wagon is "Back in the Battle"!! January 29th, 2007 The War Wagon monster truck is "Back in the Battle" on the Monster Nationals tour, as new owner Andy Hoffman is currently campaigning the truck in defense of his 2006 Monster Nationals Freestyle Championship!! The season is going well for Andy thus far, having won 4 out of 7 freestyles the first three weekends out on tour. This weekend will see Andy at the Schottenstein Center in Madison, WI!!
