War Wagon In Miami This Weekend - Schedule Update!!

War Wagon will return to competition  after a little bit of time off this weekend at the Miami Fairgrounds in Miami, OK for the O'Reilly Outlaw Nationals!!  Andy will do battle against seven other top monster trucks including Bounty Hunter, Tail Gator, Iron Outlaw, Barbarian, Big Dawg and more. In two weeks War Wagon will compete in Lufkin, TX for Team MotorJam against Monster Patrol, Ozz Monster, and Barbarian. Check out the Schedule for some newly added major events with Monster Truck Challenge as well!!

First Quarter Recap!!

The first quarter of 2008 has seen some new surroundings for the Hoffman Motorsports team, but that hasn't stopped Andy from dominating in freestyle with the War Wagon!!  This winter Andy primarily ran for TBO on the Monster Motor Nationals tour, and looking back, War Wagon was on top of freestyle in nearly every competition ran. Andy has also done well in racing this year, managing to grab at least one racing win almost every weekend on the TBO Tour. Mid-February also saw Andy's return to the Monster Jam series in a one-off deal in Cincinnati, OH. Andy showed the Monster Jam fans what a reverse move is all about, grabbing some huge air going backwards and taking the win in his first Monster Jam freestyle in years!!  The first quarter has also seen events in Texas, Waco for MAP and Beaumont for Rich Schaefer, taking a freestyle win at each. Looking back, it was a very successful winter for Andy and War Wagon. What will the summer bring?  We'll just have to wait and see, so keep checking back here for updates on where you'll be able to see Hoffman Motorsports in the coming months!!

War Wagon Back In Competition!!

After a nice few months off, Andy Hoffman is back in the saddle as War Wagon takes the Monster Motor Nationals by storm!!  The two-time Monster Nationals freestyle champ is moving on to a new series this winter and will be running all of the TBO Entertainment Monster Motor Nationals events beginning this weekend in Hattiesburg, MS.  Hoffman Motorsports will also be competing in our first Monster Jam event in many years February 15th-16th at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, OH. A big thanks to Keith Speller and the folks at LiveNation for inviting us to bring War Wagon out to compete with Monster Jam's best. Andy will also be seen running for John Darnell in Waco, TX and Rich Schaefer in Beaumont, TX to close out February. Nitemare Wraps Up 2007 In Nashville, TN!!

Nitemare was back on the Major League of Monster Trucks tour of Tennessee the last two weekends, with stops in Memphis and Nashville!!  Andy had a great start to the weekend in Memphis with a good showing in racing and a strong freestyle Friday night, but Saturday the tight Memphis track took a bite of Nitemare. Coming over the second jump, Andy got a bit out of shape and with no room to correct, was over the concrete wall and onto his roof. Thankfully Andy escaped injury in the violent crash, but Nitemare was not as lucky. The beaten and battered truck was loaded back onto the trailer and brought back to Indiana where Andy thrashed all week long to get everything put back together for the big MLMT season finale in Nashville.

The Major League of Monster Trucks finished the season with a bang, as nineteen trucks competed in one of the biggest shows of the entire year. Andy exited in the first round of racing against Bigfoot, but was responsible for what many would say is one of the most memorable moments of the entire '07 MLMT Tour. Eventual series champion Dan Runte in Bigfoot pulled out to a big lead over Andy, but on the second lap on the huge crossover track, Bigfoot was going through the under portion of the crossover right as Andy made the jump on the giant center hill. Andy and Nitemare soared high, up and over Bigfoot as the crowd roared in delight!  Following up that big move would be tough, but Andy put on a great freestyle for the Nashville fans with a huge slap wheelie through the infield and a smoky cyclone on the tri-oval of Nashville Superspeedway to finish the season. Participating in the inaugural Major League of Monster Trucks season was a great experience and the Hoffman Motorsports team was proud to be a part of it. We are already looking forward to running the 2008 MLMT Championship which will be huge for our industry.
